The North East & North Cumbria region boasts a vibrant network of Healthcare Professionals dedicated to advancing Data and Analytics industry and profession. Our AphA branch fosters inclusivity, collaboration, and professional growth, ensuring our region is well-represented and impactful in the national landscape.
The AphA North East & North Cumbria branch aims to “Embed and Grow” by expanding professional networks, enhancing resource access, and advocating for data-driven healthcare policies. We strive to provide professional development opportunities, foster cultural exchanges, and positively impact healthcare outcomes throughout our community.

I have been working on the Data Strategy, Governance, and Management Information Team at the NHSBSA for about a year now. Before that I worked in secondary science education.
I am excited to be a Champion for the AphA North East & North Cumrbia branch to help showcase the valuable networking and professional development opportunities this organization can offer. I value community involvement and collaboration and look forward to engaging with like-minded individuals who are committed to public health.

After completing my Applied Statistics BSc, I started working for Northumbria Healthcare within Information Services. I’ve now been with the Trust for 23 years and manage a team of highly skilled, enthusiastic and dedicated analysts.
AphA North East & North Cumbria provides a place for analysts to come together as a community. As a champion, I will be able to support the growth of this organisation within our region and ensure our analysts are recognised for the excellent work they do.
