We have retained the simplified nomination form we have used before as we know lengthy form filling can be a barrier to nomination, and we would like to ensure as many of you as possible get the recognition you deserve!
Closing date 9th October 2026.

1. AphA Data and Analytical Professional of the Year
2. AphA Data and Analytical Team of the Year

You must be a member of AphA for the nomination to be valid.
The awards will be presented at the Annual Conference on Thursday 5th November.

Data and Analytical Professional of the Year
Check Criteria
How the individual is providing benefits to patients/service users, clinicians or services
How the individual can be a role model and inspire other data and analytical professionals
How the individual is using innovative approaches to analytics
How the individual is raising the profile of the data and analytical professional within their own organisation
Evidence of continued professional development
Summary of outstanding achievements/progress
Innovation, eg new area of work or technique or technology to the individual and tangible progression
Open section: is there anything else you want to give credit for but didn’t fit in the above?
Data and Analytical Team of the Year
Check Criteria
Excellent engagement between the service and clients, with demonstrable improvement in service
Recognition of best practice in service delivery
Real involvement of suppliers, clinical colleagues, patients and the wider local community in shaping services
Responsiveness to customers; feedback
A team that puts the patient/customer first and creates a culture of first-class service delivery
Innovation, eg new area of work or technique or technology to the team and tangible progression
